About the Centre
At Little Giants Auburn we offer care in a stimulating, purpose-built centre with natural outdoor environments to encourage exploration and discovery. Our dedicated educators strive to build warm, open and honest relationships with all families to achieve the best possible outcomes for every child.
We are passionate advocates for Early Childhood Education and guide a holistic, child-directed educational curriculum to foster curious and confident learners. Our educators are fluent in many languages, cultures and customs that create a smooth, secure and easy transition from home to our Centre. They take pride in our Educational programs, engaging environments, positive relationships with our Children and lasting partnerships with our Families. Our indoor/outdoor program is above all expectations. Children can learn through many different areas such as our art studio, cubby houses, music and movement area, water play and creek bed, large top and lower floor studios.
Relationships are important facet of life at Little Giants. We have authentic connections with our local community and a strong sense of cultural identity. We maintain our local community connections – by having the authentic connections with families, organising events, running local library story time, schools, markets, shops. Where children feel part of and raised by the whole village.
We also have Buddy system where children do Centre tours with enrolling families and children so that they can talk in the same language, share stories and exciting experiences. Our Centre has a home like feel, created by warm loving relationships with children and families.
Each day our in-house chef provides the most delicious meals for the children, these are created in conjunction with Nutrition Australia and meet 50% of your child’s nutritional intake for that day!
We also bake fresh homemade treats daily, which can be found in our foyer next to our coffee machine. A little perk for our Families in those busy morning drop-offs.
Our affiliation with AFL team “The Giants” gives our families the opportunity to see special event games, meet and greet the players, as well as shows and presentations. (Plus we always have little giveaways!)
We welcome you and your family to our Little Giants Learning for Life Centre and look forward to following your child’s progress throughout their early years.

Meet the Centre Manager
Hello, my name is Joanne and I have been working in Early Education for 12 years, holding my Diploma in Early Education. Throughout this time, I have worked with children with ages ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old in both Long Day Care and Occasional School Hours Care. I have been working as a Centre Manager for over 9 years and I am also a mother myself to my 1-year old son.
Growing up as a child I always knew that working with children was something I wanted to pursue. Early Education is something that I am very passionate about and I take pride in knowing that I am able to provide children with quality care, meaningful opportunities for learning, experiences for new discoveries and nutritional meals.
I enjoy mentoring others and working as a part of a Team. I work by the philosophy that ‘as a leader, I am only as strong as the leaders I create’. I believe in empowering the Educators I work with to strive for professional growth, it brings me joy when I see my fellow Educators growing and succeeding.
As your Centre Manager I will ensure to make myself approachable to all Children, Families and Educators. I value the relationships I build whilst getting to know and working alongside others and believe these relationships assist in creating rich learning environments for children.
My primary focus is making sure that our Children have fun and that our Families feel welcomed and supported. Please don’t hesitate to approach me for a chat or to ask any questions or queries, I am looking forward to meeting you and your family.
